Combat Sports

Alex has studied Judo and Brazilian Jiujitsu for more than 20 years and holds a Black Belt in both arts. He has trained both in the UK with Team GB and around the world having competed across Europe and Japan where he was lucky enough to train along side the Japanese National squad. In Brazilian Jiujitsu Alex competed in the 2022 European Jiujitsu Championships only defeated by a world champion.

With this experience comes a great expertise in the biomechanics of these arts, so working with martial artists comes easy to Alex.

We at Shepperton Physiotherapy will be starting Brazilian JiuJitsu classes in the near future so watch this space with Alex teaching.
