Personal Items: Shepperton Physiotherapy is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items brought into the clinic.


Physical Risk: While receiving physiotherapy treatment, there is a small inherent risk of physical harm, including increased blood pressure, stroke, heart attack, or, in extreme cases, the risk of death.Shepperton Physiotherapy assumes no responsibility for any adverse effects that may occur during or after treatment.


GDPR Compliance: Shepperton Physiotherapy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Patient information is securely stored and maintained for a period of 8 years, as required by law, to ensure the highest standards of privacy and data protection. There may be some circumstances in which your personal and medical information will need to be shared with other members of the Shepperton physiotherapy team or third parties for example, but not limited to, insurance companies. If this is the case your clinician will inform you. 


Privacy and Undress: For certain conditions or body parts, a certain level of undress may be required for assessment and treatment. Your physiotherapist will discuss this with you and ensure that you are comfortable. If requested, your physiotherapist will step out of the room to provide privacy and maintain your dignity at all times.


Chaperone Option: At any point during your treatment, if you would like a chaperone present, please do not hesitate to ask. We are committed to ensuring your comfort and safety during your physiotherapy sessions.
