Tassy has a strong academic and clinical background, with experience across musculoskeletal therapy, women’s health, paediatrics, elderly medicine, and stroke rehabilitation, allowing her to deliver well-rounded, individualised care.

In the past, she has worked in private practice, providing tailored rehabilitation programmes and sports massage, alongside continuing professional development in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and biomechanics.

With a strong background in sport, Tassy has played hockey at England level and competed in Division 1 hockey in the United States, where she also studied Kinesiology. This experience has given her a deep understanding of movement, performance, and injury, and continues to shape her approach to rehabilitation. More recently, she has worked closely with female athletes within hockey and other sports, alongside delivering sports massage, further developing her skills in injury prevention and recovery.

Tassy’s dissertation explored ACL injury and rehabilitation, with a particular focus on the influence of the menstrual cycle. This reflects her interest in taking a more holistic and evidence-based approach to physiotherapy, considering the wider factors that can impact injury risk and recovery.

She is passionate about delivering patient-centred care, combining high-quality, evidence-based assessment and treatment with a supportive and empathetic approach. Tassy believes physiotherapy should be collaborative, engaging, and tailored to each individual, helping people not only return to full function but exceed their goals.

Outside of physiotherapy, Tassy is a fun, bubbly, and caring individual who enjoys staying active and continuing her love for sport.
