Jodie graduated from Brunel University with a degree in physiotherapy and many experiences that have helped her develop her compassionate and understanding approach.

Her clinical background spans various specialties across the NHS, having experienced work in community physiotherapy, spent time working in intensive care units, in paediatric orthopaedics and neurology and on acute amputee wards, as well as in prosthetics rehabilitation.

Jodie comes from a background in football, having played since she was 10 all the way through to university. She has worked in men’s and women’s non-league football and has enjoyed guiding players through management of
their injuries and helping them return to what they love doing.

She has developed a love for the gym and is passionate about encouraging and teaching strength training and its benefits to the community.

Helping each individual achieve their goals is Jodie’s favourite part of being a physiotherapist. Whether that’s getting back to work, re-engaging with the activities they love or just feeling better – reducing pain and increasing strength!

She has a particular interest in knee injuries having seen a lot of them during her time working in football. Outside of the clinic, Jodie likes to spend time outdoors, in the gym, going to concerts and going out with friends and family.

Physiotherapy is Conservative or nonsurgical treatment of disease, physical injury or deformity. The key methods we use are exercise massage, heat, treatment and other treatments such as shockwave therapy.
